Production Designer - Visual Design

Attensi is the global leader in 3D gamified simulation training for large corporations. Using a unique blend of gamification and realism, combined with deep and varied interactivity that is powered by our game AI, we create a ‘learning by doing’ training environment, offering a radically new method to achieve real, measurable behavioural change in large organisations.

Attensi was established in Norway in 2012 and our training is now being used by global brands in more than 140 countries and in 30 different languages. We recently secured $26M investment from Lugard Road Capital, DX Ventures and Viking Venture and are now excited to be focussing on global expansion plans.

Our London office currently consists of 40 Game Changers, which, including our HQ in Oslo brings us to a team of over 150 in total. Since opening here in 2017 we have started working with some of the largest retail, hospitality and professional services brands in the UK, US and other markets. Our portfolio includes clients such as Waitrose, Itsu, Boston Consulting Group, Hiscox, PwC and others.

Due to the rapid growth and success of our Attensi London office, we are now looking for a talented Production Designer with a focus on visual design to join our team.

Day-to-day, you can expect to put the full range of your creative skills into practice to support in the production of our gamified training simulations. No two days will be the same. One moment you’ll be taking a brief and using it to mock-up visual assets for a mobile game’s UI, and in the next creating impactful launch trailers to drive engagement with players. You will also be tapping into your inner perfectionist to make sure our simulations look amazing by adding visual finishing touches to solutions before launch. Our games are available across a variety of formats and platforms, including mobile, VR and PC. The more cross-platform creative skills you can bring to the table, the better.

If you’re passionate about creating great visual content and are motivated by the opportunity to deliver real impact by helping to create solutions that make people better at their jobs, then this is a fantastic opportunity! Here you get to work with exceptional people, learn from the best and become part of – and grow with – a dynamic and fun company in a phase of exponential growth!

What will you do?

You will be joining our global Production Support team, a newly formed team working on a mission to “Make it easy to play & work”. Meaning we help our internal teams as well as our clients to shape and implement fun and engaging solutions. Your every day will encompass a variety of tasks and you will get the opportunity to learn and grow fast by working on a wide range of projects. Typically, you will spend your days:

  • Helping implement fun and engaging training solutions with Attensi’s tools.
  • Interpreting and implementing requests from project teams, applying your visual design skills to help to perfect their simulations
  • Creating exciting game menus – this will be the first screen players see when entering their training and is therefore an important part of engaging players
  • Editing and implementing visuals as part of Attensi's games, using Attensi's in-house toolbox and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Producing launch materials, driving engagement for our client’s playerbase across new and existing training modules
  • Creating mock-ups for our client’s projects – your work will be used to bring their vision to life
  • Configuring Attensi’s solutions using our Creator platform

Who are you?

We are looking for a person with a strong drive to create real value and change. You are a committed and dedicated person who is motivated by the opportunity to be a key contributor to Attensi's further growth and development. You are curious, creative, love to learn – and learn fast! You have an eye for continuous improvement with a good sense of when and how your work and your team’s work can be streamlined. You are solution oriented and pragmatic, with a can-do attitude and are willing to go the extra mile to create amazing results.

Ideally, you will have 1-3 years' working experience within UX/UI design, video content producing/editing for a business, or similar. And also tick most of these boxes:

  • Solid knowledge and work experience using: Adobe Photoshop and Premiere, Illustrator and After Effects
  • An excellent understanding of content production: video, mock-ups, web
  • A background in Graphic Design
  • Basic understanding of game development/3D animations
  • Experience in visual storytelling
  • Fluent oral and written English
  • Experience of video production for YouTube, Twitch, or similar

Should you have some of these then that’s a plus:

  • Experience using Figma
  • Understanding of education and learning theories.
  • Fluency in additional European languages.

What do we offer?

At Attensi you will become part of an exciting and rapidly growing scale-up that is already a global leader in its field. You get to work in a flat, open and free environment, surrounded by committed, smart and talented colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, both culturally and academically. Attensi is committed to giving people the opportunity to grow and you will also be able to develop your role over time. You will also be offered exciting challenges in a dynamic and innovative environment with great ambitions.

Attensi has an energetic and social working environment. We work hard, but also have a lot of fun together. When Covid permits, we will have monthly social activities like Attensi-days, sporting events, after-work drinks, parties, game nights and company trips to our Norwegian HQ or elsewhere. These are some of the ways in which we ensure we not only work together, but also play together! Join us!
