Production Designer

Attensi is the global leader in 3D gamified simulation training for large corporations. Using a unique blend of gamification and realism, combined with deep and varied interactivity that is powered by our game AI, we create a ‘learning by doing’ training environment, offering a radically new method to achieve real, measurable behavioural change in large organisations.

Attensi was established in Norway in 2012 and our training is now being used by global brands in more than 140 countries and in 30 different languages. We recently secured $26M investment from Lugard Road Capital, DX Ventures and Viking Venture and are now excited to be focussing on global expansion plans.

Our London office currently consists of 40 Game Changers, which, including our HQ in Oslo brings us to to a team of over 150 in total. Since opening here in 2017 we have started working with some of the largest retail, hospitality and professional services brands in the UK, US and other markets. Our portfolio includes clients such as Waitrose, Itsu, Boston Consulting Group, Hiscox, PwC and others.

Due to the rapid growth and success of our Attensi London office, we are now looking for a talented Production Designer to work on our content team.

Day-to-day, you can expect to put the full range of your creative and technical skills into practice to support in the production of our gamified simulations. One moment you might be mocking up visual assets to use in a mobile game’s UI, the next you might be dipping into the Unity game engine to tinker with a 3D camera location, or splicing some voiceover files into pitch-perfect, game-ready audio. You’re happy to take a brief and run with it. You know your way around a company’s brand bible, or you’re pretty sure you’d know what to do with one if you met it face-to-face.

You have a passion for continuous improvement. You’ve got a good sense of when and how  your work and your team’s can be streamlined and automated. You know the time you spend building a more efficient system is time well spent. (So do we.)

Our games are available across a variety of formats and platforms, including mobile, VR and PC. The more creative and technical skills you can bring to bear, the better.

If you’re a generalist with an eye for visuals and a head for game design – or you’re fantastic at one of the things we’ve mentioned and pretty good at the others – then we’d love to speak to you.

What will you do?

  • Help implement a fun and engaging training solution with Attensi’s tools.
  • Interpret and implement requests from project teams, helping them create great simulations.
  • Create exciting game menus – this will be the first screen players see when entering their training.
  • Use your knowledge of Unity to set 3D camera behaviours.
  • Edit and implement visuals as part of Attensi's games, using Attensi's in-house toolbox and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Splice audio and voiceover files into game ready audio.
  • Set up builds and find innovative ways to automate these processes for the future.
  • Identify and implement improvements and standardisation of tasks for new and existing Attensi products.

You will have:

  • The ability to interpret and implement a visual design brief.
  • Previous experience working with audio files.
  • Ability to create and revise work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in setting up builds using Unity or other game engines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Previous experience with game engines, preferably Unity.
  • Previous experience with Adobe photoshop, Sketch, Proto.io or similar software.
  • A passion for identifying issues and their root-causes to then remove them and improve and standardise, perhaps even automate the process
  • Professional fluency in English.

Advantageous to have:

  • Solid experience from designing and implementing level design, gameplay design or system design in commercial games.
  • Understanding of education and learning theories.
  • Fluency in additional European languages.

What do we offer?

At Attensi you will become part of an exciting and rapidly growing scale-up that is already a global leader in its field. You get to work in a flat, open and free environment, surrounded by committed, smart and talented colleagues from a variety of backgrounds, both culturally and academically.
